Custom bows cannot currently be made, so the mod is just spawning a stock bow and adding a shader to it to give it the same appearance as the other summoned weapons.
which is really strange, because it literally IS a normal bow. Oddly, this mod bow I'm able to use MUCH better than the normal bow. The bow doesn't need arrows or a quiver, just draw and fire. This mod allows you to use a spell to more or less instantly summon any of 10 different ghostly weapons into either hand, including a bow. Just this afternoon I downloaded a mod called Spectral Armory (I think the first poster actually referred to this one too, though they called it Ethereal Weapons). I can use one in real life, though I'm not terribly good with a bare bow like the medieval ones in game. I can't seem to aim with a bow either, and I actually used to compete in weekly archery tournaments back in college. Because the cameras are on the front plate of your headset, and you need to pull the string behind your ear, pretty much. If you try to do proper archer stance, however, your arrow pulling hand can lose tracking, and in that case you likely won't be able to aim properly. The problem is that this sort of thing works best with smaller bows and in blade and sorcery it will be hard to pull the string all the way for maximum distance. The arrow will point at he target and then it will be similar to intuitive aim in pistol whip. The easiest way to shoot a bow in VR is to use sideways stance. This helps a lot with aiming the left-right dimension.

You'll see the socket of the arrowhead as a free circle in the arrowhead. Put the hand that holds the arrow behind your headset, so one eye is perfectly aligned with the arrow. One practical advice (for right eye dominant people like myself, maybe it won't work for you): You can also spawn the silver arrows quiver from "medieval mega pack" mod, which contains 1000 arrows (pretty much unlimited, too). I installed the "ethereal weapons" mod, it gives you a bow with unlimited arrows, so you can spam enemies with arrows from afar. I got much better with a bow the last weeks by - you won't believe it - practice! :D
